Serratus Anterior Activation
The rotator cuff is the group of muscles and their tendons that act to stabilize the shoulder.
The serratus anterior is a muscle that originates on the surface of the upper eight or nine ribs at the side of the chest and inserts along the entire anterior length of the medial border of the scapula. Its main function within the golf swing is to help with connection between the arms and torso during the swing.
The above video is an example of an exercise drill which, when undertaken as part of a tailored golf conditioning programme, can improve strength and movement to achieve a better body for golf.
